While traveling through Nepal, we saved our last days for Kathmandu and Bhaktapur - moments that quickly became some of my favorites. Bhaktapur, an ancient royal city full of temples, red-brick buildings, and narrow streets, felt incredibly atmospheric. I woke up early to take photos and videos while the city was still quiet — a few locals starting their day, and a traditional Nepali feeling all around. Both Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
In Kathmandu, we started our morning at 6AM, witnessing the monks during their morning prayers. Later, I photographed around the great stupa — the smoke, the soft sunlight, and the rhythm of daily rituals creating a scene that felt both peaceful and powerful. Hinduism and Buddhism coexist here in a way that’s visible everywhere, and capturing that blend was a highlight of the trip 🇳🇵
If Nepal is on your travel list, I can highly recommend traveling with our local guide Kapil. He can arrange a custom-made trip or join you as a personal guide. He is kind, very welcoming, and passionate about showing his country. For more information, feel free to send me a message 🙏🏼😊
